✂️Adelina is a sewing professional. He dedicates his art to the world of childhood realizing high-tailored clothes but also shirts with funny comics that bring joy.
✏️Adelina has always drawn freehand drawings of her cartoons and then they carry the design on the fabric before painting it.
This technique, however, was good at the beginning when the work was scarce and had few orders. During the last Christmas (2017) a trouble has happened. The classic drop that breaks the vase. Adelina did not correctly execute the drawing on some girl’s shirts because she was too tired for all the cutting and sewing work. The client did not want the job and had to fall back on other last-minute gifts for grandchildren. In short, a mess.
What is a real failure (undelivered work, disappointed customer, lost compensation), however, is the occasion for a change of lane.
Adelina decides that she wants to have a digital catalog of her drawings that she can then bring back to the fabric in a short time without having to draw them every time.
In short, a library of comics always produced by his creativity. Taking the decision, Adelina must now choose whether to entrust the creation of digital files to others or learn how to use the software to create them.
Both solutions have pros and cons. In the first case he must entrust his beloved comics to others. And every time he has a new idea he has to pay a professional to get his digital drawing. However, it would save time in the short term.
The other option would allow you to fully manage the creative process, and all the new comics that will come to mind in the future, but you need to invest some time to learn.
What would you choose in its place?
Will Adelina’s decision bring tangible benefits to her work? Adelina has chosen to invest her money and her time to learn how to make the library of her drawings on her own. In this way you can always create new ones and offer your little customers funny and original outfits. But the most interesting thing and that required exclusive lessons so, along with the tutor will work directly to his drawings!
Soon you will see Adelina’s creations also online.
